I like what you did with the laser; the WEG description of it being fixed-forward never sat well with me as a defensive weapon. My only quibble would be that, if this is a ground skimmer, the laser’s going to be somewhat awkward for defending against aerial attacks.
I see the standard laser for the chassis as a self-defense weapon. A Chariot formation would either have a flak vehicle attached, or some of them would be combat variants with a top gun. I’m planning on making the comscan module at the back set up on a modular socket, which can be replaced by a weapon station on a non-command/liaison variant
It would, but the original specs say a ventral gun. For a flying vehicle it’s not as big off a drawback as it could be, but strictly from a logical standpoint it’d make more sense on top. *shrug* blame WEG
Does this vehicle have any sort of utility to it, maybe in the form of pulling a sort of repulsor trailer for light supply movements? Or is this strictly a command vehicle?

Would it make more sense to mount a smaller self-defense weapon on top? It seems like it would be able to fire at more angles.

And a crane (with tractorbeam/magnet/claw) in the comscan module/weapon slot. That way they can load the repulsor trailer themselves.
Imperial design details at their finest!
You get my email Ansel?
Somebody downvote me for asking my friend if he received the email I sent him? Lol
It’s starting to look like a transport/gunship helicopter. Pretty appropriate, considering what it can do.
