Imperial Nebulon WIP#4

Update to the hangar area. The top part of the hangar I expanded *just* enough to hold a DX-9 stormtrooper transport (and obviously smaller utility vehicles etc.). The bottom rack system is on a carousel. Depending on the arm layout, it can be modular enough to take a variety of different fighter-scale craft. Fighters can be cycled from the main internal hangar to the rack system via the carousel.

Other larger craft can either dock via airlock, or protrude from an atmospheric shield curtain in the upper hangar bay like a Lambda, if for some reason it requires a fully atmospheric-controlled volume to dock in (i.e. a VIP transport).

Small favor, when you do your final renders and park this next to other ships in comparison, could you please use the Kontos in one of the shots? It’s my favorite smallish ship you’ve done and I think they’d compliment one another.

Wasnt the Nebulon B cannonically an imperial vessel that had fallen out of favor?

Yes & No, build by KDY also for Imperial Navy they were used as escort ships but had the “bad luck” and couple of them defected to rebels. But both sides used them thru whole conflict. Probably being more a symbol of rebels then empire they had been used as less “glorious” post then other ships.

18 light fighters or so on the carousel, maybe a little bit more in the hangar.

I imagine the doors on the fore and aft ends cover some kind of maintenance area? Does Nebulon has evough space for such facilities?
