I love this ref page. Any chance of another one in the future, with more/updated ships? You’ve introduced a lot of great ships since this render.

Fractal,

very much would like to see this done with the larger Capital Ships using the Redux models.

Being able to see these stacked next to each other would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

I made this some time ago. All the murder-wedges from Assertor to Imperator.

The handy upper-end scale reference is much appreciated. For some reason I’m struck by Legator’s proportionately-beefy thruster block, even compared to Bellator.

Any chance of a modern redux including your more recent classes?

Oh by away about the two corvettes customs and vigil they are also almost the same length despite being 75 meters apart between 180 meters (Customs) – 255 meters (Vigil) so what up with those two? Or did you either make the customs corvette bigger or the Vigil smaller?

So Fractal you said the Vindicator class was 600 meters in length and the Kontos class was 450 meters in length right but when I look at those two frigates they look almost the same length like the Kontos class look like it was 575 meters in length or something, Same with the corvettes with the Vigil class being 255 meters in length and the other one was 180 meters in length but the Vigil class look like it was 200 meters in length instead so was this a mistake or are they really are that exact size?

Vindicator is 613m with antennae included. Kontos is 546.2m with gun barrels included. I’m not sure where I said Kontos was 450m – maybe early on when I intended it to be in the same range as a 450m Strike? Sorry for confusion.

Usually very early in the process I’ll measure the hull – then stuff gets added to the ends and it changes the length a bit. Rarely do I hit something super exactly. However, Procurator turned out to be exactly 3400m long in the end.

Oh Kontos is 546.2 meters now huh that quite a jump anyway here is you said 450 meters: http://fractalsponge.net/?p=397
Also procurator being 3.4 km neat just bigger than the first order battlecruiser and probably more powerful too.

Although in Star Wars legends the Procurator length was 2.5 km and surprisingly was introduced in 219 BBY a very long time before TPM.

Hm – well I’ve thumbed through my copy of EGTW and can’t find it. But I don’t remember if Jason’s 8km Mandator numbers actually made it into the book or not, or if they remained his personal notes.

Uh who knows anyway Fractal now that you done the Procurator what next the heavy frigate or something?

So this is an accurate size comparison?

Um, yes.

Where? I don’t remember numbers ever being attached to Procurator.

Just out of curiosity, can someone list these from top to bottom?

Handy scale-guide for your corvette-to-heavy-destroyer render range. Fulgor’s beefier as frigates go than I would’ve guessed from isolated views.
