Yes. But it’s not supposed to be a brawler. If it has to open fire, the mission is probably shot to hell anyway. Spam an unreasonable alpha strike in missiles and run like hell.
I like the distinct design! Not just another iteration of a Star Destroyer, but still clearly an imperial ship. Also great hangar interiors!
Hangar placement feels a bit off, however, like a weak spot in the ship’s structure. Can you still move it closer to the superstructure?
It does look like just the torque from the engines when turning would snap it in half, let alone any fire. Looking carefully, it might be that trying to double stack the TIEs on top of the shuttle is the issue and the hangar could be longer and thinner?
The centerline turrets are 40TT heavies, right?
Twin 200GT MTL. Nothing this small will mount a true heavy turbolaser.
If anyone knows, what software does fractal use to create the 3-D model of the ships?
3ds Max, if I remember correctly.
Is there any way to get the 3d files of these, they look gorgeous
Not likely, Fractal has been shafted too many times by people taking advantage.
Hangar looks really misplaced, can it be moved backward so there won’t be such obvious weak point that can cut ship in half?
Wouldn’t such a large hangar there create a weak spot for the ship?

In all fairness, the design actually came from Rebel Strike, so it’s not an original design.
but the hangar isn’t as big in the original designe and wouldn’t cause a structural weakness thought.

Very good job.
