Everytime I get pissed at Disney’s designs for Star Wars and how they **** up trying to make their own ‘original’ lore (half of which they pilfered from the EU and then piss on it) I come here to cool my head and see beautiful designs. I’m never disappointed. Thank you Fractal.
You need to do a little behind the movie making of Star Wars. George Lucas himself would take ideas from the EU, such as the character Aura Sing, the planet Corusant.and many more all coming from the EU.

That is actually a really cool and original design it looks like an artillery version
of the AT-TE.

Nicely sturdy and stable looking design. Seems like it dwarfs the old AT-TE, by which its design seems to be inspired.
From its relative lack of point defences and apparently minimal ventral armour, I infer that the closest this mobile artillery piece is supposed to get to the front line is ‘if you can see me, I decided not to shoot you.’
My headcanon for the AT-HE is a hybrid of the AT-TE and this new walker, with the AT-TE’s basic form (six legs, flexes in the middle) but in the artillery walker’s size range and cockpit, with a single Scythe-scale turret up front and transport capacity for a platoon in the rear.
Which one? I mean, I’m definitely doing the Artillery Walker when Fractal’s done with it, but I can’t say I’ll ever be able to afford to pay Fractal’s rates to get him to do my version of the AT-HE.
Basically it’s already half-done. Most of the turret options are the same as the ones on the Scythe. I usually wait until it’s complete before I do D6 stats, though.

Can’t wait for your stats on the Rancorpit. Hopefully we will be seeing a top down version of the final so I can use it in my games!

I was referring to you creating stats for the new creation Fractal has just shared with us in this post.
