the AT-AP has a huge cannon that could be a serious threat in your Fractal army

as we see in R1, the doors present a fairly significant weak point (against starfighter grade weapons) and the obvious instability factor of having the bulk of the mass so high up on just four legs presents even more problems, so I wonder if an AT-TE or AT-OT based cargo platform would fare better. Makes sense they would exist, with the context that this is basically a scaled-up AT-AT, and the Republic needed cargo-transport for their armies the same as the Empire.
The AT-OT is already a cargo platform though. The one time we see it, it was fitted with seats to carry personnel but it’s very clearly and open top cargo walker. Something akin to a flatbed truck, but for walkers.

How this is interesting. I always assumed walkers and such would have auxiliary repulsors to get over difficult terrain. But shield bridges? Hmmm…
Are we ever going to get an AT-TE and/or AT-AP

They did have cargo AT-TEs in Legends.

that’s a canyon
how many of the elements forming the bridge are transported inside.
Only 8. But cargo is cargo – take an HCV and pack dozens on the back.
How many elements would it take to bridge… the Rhine at Remagen (300m)?
the fact that you need 2 every 15 meters i would calculate that you need 20 per side!:P
