Light fleet tanker idea. The Altor-class Fleet Support Ship was designed to fuel Star Dreadnoughts and Star Destroyer squadrons. This ship handles destroyers and smaller ships, and is about 900m long.
Nice to see another auxiliary ship!
I’m still curious to know what modelling software you use. You cannot by chance give a hint on how to do panels on a curved surface with Blender?
The tank in the final render in this post is from the Altor. Compare the fueling arms on the latter to the tank, and you can see the relative size of the booms.

Wow…I actually like this as a mainline warship. Not in Star Wars mind you. I think it looks awesom

What is interesting is if this ship was put into EAW it could also be considered a mobile ship repair, even though it fuels up ships. Will it have like at least minimal defense like very small amount of weapon turrets, or is it just as is?
Expect roughly frigate-level armament for self defense. These underway replenishment ships are designed to have near fleet acceleration and good shielding, since they would operate in hostile environments.
So hit-and-run attempts on one of these puppies would still need heavier strike groups than, say, two Nebulons & a couple bomber squads. Suppose even tankers need teeth & thick skin in a setting where threats are just a jump away.
These ships would be valuable enough to have dedicated escorts, but yes, even if something got past those, the auxiliaries themselves wouldn’t be a quick kill. Passive defenses like shielding would be very good for their size (so this ship would be rocking destroyer shielding), and active defenses would be weighted mainly to keep off lighter ships and fighters long enough to jump away.

Ah, a ship whose quasi-rectangular hull plan actually sorta fits. Gotta wonder how compromised tanker & tankee’s shields (‘specially if the ray & particle/’deflector’ difference is an ‘actual’ thing) would be during refueling, as well as the sort of ker-splosion you’d get from a tank breach.
Deleted scene, you mean the one where Anakin and Obi-Wan end up having to carefully navigate through a fuel tunnel and then afterward Anakin “seals off” the wall with a lightsaber to contain the inevitable explosion, despite Obi-Wan’s protests?

JK, any work from the Admiral is work worthy of worship.

3dsmax. Curved panels are a pain anywhere. Try spline extrusion and boolean to shape.
3DS? As in the gaming system?
900m? Those refueling arms must be huge! Also, I love the placement of the hangar.
Not nearly as big as the arms on this thing:

I guest going off of my comment, there could be a repair version of this as well.

Fuel I bet is largely inert (deleted scene ROTS suggests this) – the energy going inside reactor would be devastating if released though.
