OH LORD please revisit this idea. The LAAT is one of my favorite SW vehicles by far. IIRC, Doug Chiang took inspiration from the Soviet HIND-D, thus the sturdy bubble cockpits.
These might be useful; one money shot of a Soviet Mi-24, and two pictures of a South African example, with a Chinese frame and hull modified with domestic goodies.
Of all your WIP, this is the only one you have left unfinished Mr Fractalsponge.
I would be really interested in seeing it finished.
