As far as I know the Praetor II is the only case where the “official length” (4.8km) differs from Fractalsponge’s designed length (6.4km).

It would be awesome to have a formation shot of two Procursators and an Allegiance, that Dark Empire panel still looks cool

Only thing I don’t like is that it’s missing the missile launchers that were on the original procursator but I think is a crux of a lot of star destroyer designs the lack of any sort missiles or torpedo’s but other then that it’s fantastic.
Wouldn’t be the first time Fractalsponge took out a missile battery when “reduxing” one of his old designs.
He did the same with the Secutor – the original had a tactical concussion missile battery in the hull trench, (one battery on each side), almost half-way down from the bow (there’s an isolated quad turbolaser on each side of the dorsal hull, looking exactly like an Imperial II’s main gun, but with only four barrels instead of eight, close to the hull trench at that location). The updated Secutor, with all its quad turbolasers replaced with Venator-type turbolasers, has no missiles in the trench at that spot.

This feels like the sweet spot for star destroyers. I wish they would make it canon since it’s better than any Imperial ship that’s been introduced yet imo.
This design was introduced around the time of Empire Strikes Back, this along with the Allegiance was apart of the Empire’s movement toward dedicated battleships without fighter capability
Allegiance was essentially a Tector on steroids, while this design was more of a frontline skirmisher warship, packs a punch while having the speed and shielding to survive

YEAHHHHHHHHH PROCURSATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve been waiting for this redux for too long
Interesting to see the differences between it and the classic Procursator – longer underside hangar, the addition of the Venator’s double-barrelled medium turbolaser mounting in the forward part of the trench – and the replacement of the trench missile batteries with hangars.
How large is this? My guess is 1200m long but if anyone has any other guesses about length width or height please reply
1.2km is the length that the endnotes to The Essential Guide To Warfare gives it.
