man look at those engines, you can tell its probably your favourite thing to do. They look amazing. At first I was like man only one reactor bulb?? But then finally the other side screenshot came up and I was like this has to at least have two reactors powering up this beast

I think it’s still a single spherical reactor—just sticks out both sides. I’m assuming ISD-scale reactor, but I could be wrong w/o relevant contextual reference. Assertor-scale reactor seems…like over-kill…but maybe feasible w/in the realm of an R+D/factory ship utilizing non-standard power-scales for specialized shielding/fabrication/equipment/etc.

Ill be honest and say an asserter or even Alligeant style reactor is needed, A. Weapons, B. Shields, C. Various equipment and engines. D: Fabrication and then E: Redundant systems. Although I do see as far as A goes that the rear like most Imperial vessels is lacking in protection (this is probably how the Rebels were able to sneak onboard in the first place, just my thoughts seeing only the 3 turrets)

Yes, I totally forgot this ship is dreadnought-scale… >_<

Looks to me like a Bellator’s secondary reactor, what with the 4 protrusions on it – I’m guessing that was the graphical asset used. Bigger than an ISD’s.

If, by “ISD-scale,” you mean as big as an ISD, I would agree. The ISDs flying alongside in the finished work look to be no larger in overall volume than the sphere implied by the two domes.

I tend to agree that there’s two reactors, not one. My reasoning is as follows:

Examine the Bellator when seen exactly in profile view. Extrapolate the curvature of the secondary reactor bulge as if it were a segment of a sphere. What does the sphere look like?

It looks to me as though the hypothetical sphere would bulge above the Bellator’s hull at that point.

Since it doesn’t – I conclude that the bulge does not continue curving upward in a spherical fashion within the Bellator’s hull (instead, it might be a case of “two bulges, back-to-back, to form a discus shape”) – and that the reactor itself, if spherical, is smaller than that.

The detail on the engines is just immaculate!
I can’t wait to see it finished!
