YES YES YES!!
one of my FAVORITE ‘cruz-mobile’ Star Wars ships of ALL TIME!
I loved this from sooo many years ago! so amazed to see FS do his magic one it!
…
Will there be a version I wonder without the HUGE open hanger however?
I can see a whole family of variants – went through this a little on the Discord. However initial gallery will probably be the base carrier-capable version.

I remember this from back when I got the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels! This brings back so many memories.
It already looks great, I’m looking forward to seeing this complete.

Always had a soft spot for the Marauder. Does the fighter rack retract into the hull? Some of the pictures make it seem like it does. Is there a reason you are putting in more than the standard 12 ships for a squadron? Some of the pics I count 14-15 TIEs.

I love the tie fighter rack! It makes so much sense to have it on the giant, flat underside of the marauder. I’m glad Fracal also fixed the original oversized main cannons.

Awesome take on a cool ship. I love how this version makes sense of the official stats, especially how it incorporates the 12 TIE fighters and 2 dropships. It made no sense how the original Marauder depictions could house that many ships, but this depiction makes the Marauder a powerhouse.
A fast and maneuverable 195-meter corvette with 4 heavy turbolaser cannons (with 360⁰ firing arcs no less), 12 TIE fighters, 2 dropships, 80 stormtroopers, and a crew (including pilots and maintenance personnel) of 177, all for 3 million credits? I can’t think of another ship in this size class I’d rather have, except maybe the DP20.

Was not expecting this design but damm it looks cool.
Is it scaled to 195m or is it longer for the empire.
Can’t wait for the finished product

oh my lord that hangar bay lighting is GORGEOUS! I really appreciate the work done on the smaller capital ships; cruisers are cool but you can take in the detail and greebling on corvettes and the like. can’t wait to see the finished product!

It looks great! I feel weird about it being crammed with TIE’s since it wasn’t Imperial but I assume this is some Imperial purchased version.
Makes sense that a Sienar design somewhat contemporary to the first TIE prototypes in Legends, would have the first few in production equipped with TIE racks, even if the Republic and the Empire did not choose to adopt the design.
Later ones built specifically for the Corporate Sector might have had a different design of rack.
Alternatively, if it’s too old for first generation ones to be specifically designed to be compatible with the TIE, a few Imperial worlds might have bought them and retrofitted them with TIE racks.
